We collect what we need to get tablets to your door and nothing we do not. Here is what that means.
Who we are
FizzyClean makes natural cleaning tablets for reusable drinkware. This policy covers the FizzyClean website and anything you buy or sign up for through it. When we say we, us or our, we mean FizzyClean. Our contact details are at the end.
What we collect
When you buy from us we collect your name, email address, delivery address, phone number if you give one, and the details of what you ordered. Payment is handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
When you join our list we collect your email address and the page you signed up from.
When you contact us we keep your message and your contact details so we can reply.
When you browse the site our systems record the usual technical things: your IP address, browser, device type, rough location, the pages you look at and how you got here. Some of this comes through cookies, which are explained below.
What we use it for
- Taking payment, packing your order and getting it delivered.
- Sending order confirmations, shipping updates and replies to your messages.
- Sending you offers and news if you have signed up for them. Every email has an unsubscribe link and it works.
- Checking orders for fraud.
- Understanding how the site is used so we can make it better.
- Meeting our legal obligations, like keeping tax records.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the services that help us run the business, and only what each one needs to do its job. That includes our store and checkout platform, our payment provider, the warehouses and couriers that deliver orders, our email platform, and the analytics and advertising tools listed in the cookies section. Each of them is bound by its own privacy policy and by contract with us.
We will also share information if the law requires it, for example to respond to a lawful request from a regulator or court, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
We do not sell personal information.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. We use them to keep your cart together, remember you between visits, measure how the site is used and show you relevant ads on other platforms. Our site uses cookies from our store platform, Google Analytics and Meta. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site, like the cart, will not work without them.
To opt out of personalised advertising you can use the controls at Google, Meta, or the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page. Our site does not currently change its behaviour in response to Do Not Track signals.
Where it goes
We sell worldwide, and the services we use run in several countries, including Australia, the United States and the European Union. Your information may be stored or processed in any of them. Where the law requires it, we put safeguards in place for those transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as the law requires us to keep business records, which in Australia is seven years. Marketing details are kept until you unsubscribe. Messages are kept for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and a reasonable period after. Analytics data is held according to the retention settings of each tool.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you are in the European Union, United Kingdom, California or another place with its own privacy law, you may also have the right to object to certain processing, restrict it, or receive a copy of your data in a portable form. Email us and we will sort it out. We will not treat you differently for asking.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will do our best to fix it. You can also complain to the privacy regulator where you live. In Australia that is the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Children
Our site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you think we have, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant we will tell customers by email.
